About Me

My photo
Ray Gergen
I was a Shansi fellow, destined for two years of teaching English at Shanxi Agricultural University (Taigu, Shanxi province, China) and traveling throughout Asia, from Winter 2010 to Summer 2012. I graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in anthropology, with concentrations in linguistic anthropology and performance studies. I love cooking ethnic food, performing long-form improv, traveling, staring lovingly at large soundboards, and studying languages via total immersion. I am currently a student at Gallaudet University studying American Sign Language.
